HUMAN: ( A Human Being)                 
RESOURCE   (the personnel of a business or organization, regarded as a significant asset in terms of skills and abilities)
MANAGEMENT ( To manage a men  tactfully) 

DEFINITION

“HRM is management function concerned with hiring , motivating and maintaining people in an organization. It focuses on people in organization” 


CONCEPT OF HRM

Among the five Ms of management, i.e., men, money, machines, materials, and methods, HRM deals about the first M, which is men 

HRM is concerned with the human beings in an organization. “The management of men” is very important and challenging job because of the dynamic nature of a people. 

HRM is the process of managing people of an organization with the human approach. Human resources approach to manpower enables the manager to view the people as an important resource.

In simple words, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT   is management function that helps manager to recruit (the action of enlisting new people in the armed forces.), select, train and develop organization members.

      At the right time, 

Capable of effectively and efficiently completing those tasks that will help the organization achieve its overall strategic objectives
